Difflam Eucalyptus Flavour Lozenges help soothe sore throats or mouth ulcers. Usually, mouth and throat pain is caused by a virus like the flu or a common cold. Difflam Eucalyptus Flavour Lozenges reduce swelling and throat irritation thanks to the anti-inflammatory effects of the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride. Difflam Eucalyptus Flavour Lozenges are suitable for adults and children aged six years and over and contain benzydamine hydrochloride (a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication).

How many days should I take Difflam Eucalyptus Flavour Lozenges?
You can take one lozenge three times a day but do not continue the treatment for any longer than seven days.

Yes, you can take Difflam Lozenges with other anti-inflammatory painkillers to treat throat and mouth irritation.
Side Effects
Similarly to all drugs, eucalyptus oil-flavoured Difflam Lozenges may bring about side effects. However, this doesn't mean you'll experience any at all.
Whilst rare, allergic reactions can be severe. Notify your GP without delay if you experience:
- Difficulties breathing.
- A rash or itching, specifically if this involves the whole body.
- Your mouth or throat gets swollen all of a sudden.
Infrequent (involves up to 1 in 100 people):
- Sunburn or a rash due to skin sensitivity to sunlight.
Unusual (may concern up to 1 in 1,000 people):
- Burning or dryness in your mouth (you can counteract this by drinking a glass of water).
Incredibly rare (may concern up to 1 in every 10,000 people):
- Swelling of the mucous membrane, throat or mouth (angioedema).
- Difficulties breathing (laryngospasm).
Unidentified (regularity cannot be estimated from the data available):
- An allergic response (hypersensitivity).
- Extreme allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) that involves symptoms like feeling faint, dizziness, pain or tightness in the chest, and breathing troubles.
- Throat, tongue, lips, and face swelling (could be life-threatening).
- Raised skin lumps, severe itching,
- Hypoaesthesia oral (local oral mucosa sensitivity loss).
